Founded by Sarah Palmer in 2010, Elephant in the Room Designs is a Melbourne-based studio known for its collaborative approach and thoughtfully crafted interiors. Sarah works closely with each client to create bespoke spaces that reflect their lifestyle, placing wellbeing and happiness at the heart of every project. Her work is recognised for its warmth, calm atmosphere, and personality, as well as her passion for artwork, mixing materials, and playful use of colour.

The scale of projects ranges from a single room to an entire home—whether it's a new build or a renovation. The studio offers a comprehensive service from initial concept through to full documentation and site management. Sarah engages with exceptionally skilled builders and tradespeople.
